Rules and Regulations
“ROSSO SOLINI Designer Soles Contest”
1. The Contest runs from 12 pm EST July 4, 2011 until 12 pm EST on July 9, 2011, which is the entry period. Applications submitted will be kept by FASHIONOTES for prize selection.
2. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter the Contest.
3. To enter the Contest entrant must ‘like’ both Rosso Solini and Fashionotes on Facebook, and comment with initials and color choice within the contest dates.
4. The submission of each design to the comments on the contest page, will constitute an ‘Entry’.
5. Entries received shall be deemed to be submitted by the entrant/participant.
6. Multiple Entries are permitted into the Contest prize draw.
7. All Entries must be submitted no later than the end of the Entry Period.
8. The selected entrant will be notified by email within seven (7) days of the Draw Date at the email address indicated with their entry. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted within 48 hours, the Entry is null and void and another entrant will be randomly selected from the remaining eligible entries.
9. Before a selected entrant is declared the winner of the Contest, he or she must answer a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question to be administered via email.
10. All entries become the property of FASHIONOTES (the Contest Sponsors) who assume no responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of application information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, printing errors, lost, delayed or garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone or computer line or network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof.
11. Contest Sponsors shall not be held responsible for any errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the Competition including any damage to an entrant’s computer equipment, system, software or any combination thereof, as a result of their participation in this competition. All decisions of the Contest Sponsors are final in all matters as they relate to this Contest.
12. THE PRIZE: One (1) winner will receive a Rosso Solino sole sticker kit valued at approximately USD $100.
13. THE DRAW: Around July 10, 2011, one (1) winner will be randomly selected at the head office of FASHIONOTES, located at 62 Niagara Street, Toronto, Ontario from among all eligible Entries received during the Entry Period. Once the winner has confirmed acceptance of the prize, the prize will be shipped by Rosso Solini Designer Soles.
14. In order to be a selected the winner of the Contest, he or she must, within 2 days of being contacted, complete and return to FASHIONOTES (FN) a contest eligibility and liability/publicity release (a “Waiver of Liability Form”) confirming compliance with these rules and regulations (the “Contest Rules”), releasing FN and their respective directors, officers and agents from all liability and, except where prohibited by law, permitting FN to use the selected entrant’s name, address (city and province) and image, without compensation, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media now known or hereafter devised, including the Internet, in any publicity carried out by FN. If the selected entrant is under the age of majority, the Waiver of Liability Form must be signed and submitted by his or her parent or legal guardian. FN has the sole authority and discretion to determine whether a Waiver of Liability Form has been properly executed and has the sole authority and discretion to accept or refuse a Waiver of Liability Form that has not been properly executed.
15. No correspondence will be entered into, except with selected entrants.
16. FASHIONOTES and www.FASHIONOTES.com (together, the “Sponsors”), their affiliates and each of their directors, officers, employees and agents are not in any way responsible for any lost, misplaced, destroyed, delayed, misdirected or undelivered Entries.
17. In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an Entry, the Entry will be deemed submitted by the holder of the email account.
18. The odds of winning the Contest are dependent on the total number of eligible Entries received.
19. Candidates must be Canadian or US residents to be eligible for selection in the Contest.
20. Candidate’s entries are not accepted if they are employees of, or members of the immediate family of, or persons domiciled with an employee of the Contest Sponsors, their agents, parent, affiliated or related companies, subsidiaries, divisions and promotional agencies, are ineligible. Proof of identification must be provided upon request.
21. The Contest is subject to the applicable legislation and regulations of Canada and the relevant province(s) or territory (territories) and is void where prohibited.
22. All decisions of the Contest Judges are final and cannot be reviewed or in any way appealed. Awards to successful Candidates have no cash surrender value. The Contest Sponsors reserve the right to make reasonable substitutions for all or any portion of the Prizes.
23. The Contest Sponsors reserve the right to withdraw, amend, terminate or suspend in whole or in part this Contest at any time without prior notice and without liability.
24. By submitting an entry, consent is given to the collection, use and distribution of the personal information disclosed, by the Competition Sponsors for the purposes of running the Competition (information is stored for approximately 1 year). Competition Sponsors will not sell or transmit this information to third parties except for the purposes of administering the Competition. Any inquiry concerning the personal information held by the Competition Sponsors should be addressed to the Competition Sponsors.
25. The following definitions apply throughout the Contest Rules. Where words are defined in the singular, the plural of that word has a comparable meaning; where words are defined in the plural, the singular form of that word has a comparable meaning. The possessive form of a word also has a comparable meaning to that word.
(a) “Entry” means the comment submitted to the Web site [www.FASHIONOTES.com].;
(b) “Candidate” means the person whose name and applicable personal information are submitted with their Entry and “Successful Candidate” means a Candidate who has been chosen to be a Contest Winner;
(c) “Competition or Promotion or Contest Sponsor” means FASHIONOTES, its publications and the media and promotional partners of FASHIONOTES, and each of their respective affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents.
