Fashion authority NYLON is giving their girls major Halloween inspiration and this season top costumes include: pop culture icons, the quintessential 80’s/90’s girl and skull make up looks. With the holiday just days away, we at FASHIONOTES are loving Nylon TV’s DIY videos.
This year NYLON teamed up with NYC based, MUA Michela Wariebi for a killer half sugar skull and beauty look that’s easy to create, featuring Mehron makeup from the #nylonshop. This look packs a dramatic punch.
Step 1: Foundation
Step 2: Contouring
Step 3: Set foundation with powder
Step 4: Eyes shadow and eyeliner (smudge neutral shadow to create depth around top and bottom lid) line top/bottom with a noir kohl liner
Step 5: Tone with taupe, use toning powder
Step 6: Darken brows
Step 7: Add lashes – only add to beauty side of face
Step 8: Use water activated white body paint on face for sugar skull base
Step 9: Use black paint to create a circle, follow the natural line of the eye socket
