If you’ve been procrastinating at work this week and checking out your favourite websites, chances are you’ve seen pictures of tweens crying about Zayn Malik leaving One Direction, or you’ve at least read tweets about how people “can’t even” with this major change.In our first ever Fashionotes 5, we gather how people have reacted to the news.
1) The Criers
These individuals took the news really hard. The end result was buckets of tears and calling their moms to be consoled.
2) The Nostalgic Crew
Some people decided the only way to cope was to remember the days when the band was happy (and create collages to prove it). In truth, this probably made the criers shed more tears because they know deep down moments like these won’t happen again
3) The Optimists aka The Dreamers
People who literally can’t imagine One Direction without Zayn and are coming up with plans to reunite the band (unfortunately for the optimists, Zayn has been pretty clear he won’t be returning and the other four seem pretty set on staying together)
4) The Sarcastic Jokers
Our very own Fashionotes writer, Michael, had a bright idea. He gave a shoutout to Michelle Williams and tweeted that she should apply to fill the 5th spot in One Direction #poormichelle
5) The Strategists
Domino’s Pizza knew how to get people’s attention. The company posted a picture of a pepperoni pizza in the shape of a broken heart. and with the hastag ‘#ZaynPain’ the tweet got over 9K retweets and over 7K Favourites
