The force is strong with Australian brand KITX. Its resort 2017 collection is all about futuristic, sustainable pieces for this galaxy and beyond.
Designer Kit Willow is giving sustainable clothing a luxury touch with exquisite, high-frequency garments designed and sourced with conscious materials. KITX mantra is key;
“I strongly believe in a better world, through the simple mantra of making women look and feel beautiful, without harming our planet, so everyone can win,” said Kit Willow.
With the carbon footprint in mind, KITX is the future of fashion – an acronym; KITX stands for kindness, integrity, transparency and the future. The 28-piece resort collection is a beautiful nod to Star Wars, taking inspiration from the Jedi. The line includes feminine draped crossed-neck gowns and military kimono-inspired dresses; true inspiration from Rey and Luke Skywalker.
Each piece in the collection was draped to perfection and crafted beautifully with a wearable color palette such as; monochrome to stunning muted yellow. Stand out accessories, including leather corsets and over the knee snakeskin boots completed each look. Set to be a favorite amongst Australia’s fashion pack; Lindy Klim, Kyly Clarke, Demi Harman and Bridget Malcolm, for its flattering draping and floaty lounge wear-inspired stylings.
With a killer #MBFW resort collection, we can’t wait to see how KITX continues to create sustainable luxury. Check out the runway show and this special interview with Kit Willow and how her brand is changing sustainable fashion.
