Rebecca Minkoff to release wearable technology

By Contributor on August 29, 2014

We love, love, love when high-end designers team up with tech start-ups (it’s basically what we live for). The latest to collaborate - luxury designer Rebecca Minkoff and mobile accessory company Case-Mate who are set to release wearable technology, charging devices and phone cases.

Minkoff will debut two pieces at her spring 2015 runway show next week in New York City, and you can get your hands on both in November. I’d tell you to start saving your pennies, but would you believe these devices are actually SUPER affordable?

The lightning cable bracelet ($60) connects to a USB cord and features a leather strap, studs and a clasp that hides the fact that you can use the bracelet to charge and sync your phone on the go. As well, the gold chain-link bracelet with a silver bar and pyramid studs ($120) connects with your phone via Bluetooth. The bracelet lights up when you receive a text or call so you can put your phone away but still stay in touch.
