Tech Thursdays: NailO

By Francesca Castor on April 23, 2015

Technology continues to make leaps with its latest innovations. The most current offering in the tech world is something born out of convenience. Called, NailO, it is a Bluetooth wireless trackpad that is connected to your thumb.

NailO

Inspired by nail art stickers, NailO was developed by a team at the MIT Media Lab. It contains different layers that can connect you to your laptop via Bluetooth. Complete with a battery, circuit, sensors, and a funky layer of art, this is incredibly convenient. It basically turns your finger into a tiny trackpad. For example, if you’re following a recipe online, it’s easy to scroll down with the use of the NailO. The product is currently in its prototype stage, but the company plans to have a variety of “nail art” available to fit your personality.
