Online shopping is like dating, you need to switch it up to keep it fresh. Here are three new sites to add to your rotation:
- Missguided ($)
I am a firm believer in the splurge on investment pieces, save on the trends rule. Enter Missguided, the ultimate site to load up on the pieces of the season for wallet-friendly prices. You can shop by current trends, scroll their collections (I highly recommend the basics), or search by occasion. Missguided also lets you browse looks that mirror your fav celebrities’ wardrobes. At the moment they feature Kim K, Cara, Kylie, Jaime Chung and Rita Ora.
- THEN AND NOW ($$)
At first glance, THEN AND NOW Shop resembles some of my regular online shopping destinations, like Shopbop. However, the real beauty of this site is the Past Collections feature where you can shop past designers’ collections at major discounts. You can filter by retailers (such as TheOutnet) or by designers (from Acne to Zac Posen).
Another cool feature is the Outfit Builder where you can add products to see your looks come to life. May or may not have these (half off!!) Elizabeth and James slingbacks on their way to my mailbox as we speak.
- Tinker Tailor ($$$)
I originally came across Tinker Tailor when it was featured on Refinery29, and I now have them to thank for the ultimate fashion girl’s #ProcrastinationDestination. This site is all about custom clothing (hence the $$$) and you can work with select designer collections or the Tinker Tailor styles. When you use the site’s templates you can create a top, skirt or dress by choosing your silhouette, fabric/pattern and embellishments. I could spend hours playing designer on here.
