Fashion & Technology Today

By Danielle Goguen on August 25, 2015

Today’s Fashion & Technology today includes Geometric Scarves, a collaboration with Pharell Williams and G-Star Raw and a food truck turned chic boutique. Keep reading to find out more!

Geometric Scarves

scarves-1

Designer Bilge Nur Saltik recently collaborated with Rive Roshan to produce a beautiful collection of fine silk scarves and handkerchiefs. The Through the Looking Glass collection explores the refraction of shape and color caused by different types of lighting. The effect is a series of wild and unpredictable shapes.  [Fubiz]

Pharell and G-star Raw Collaboration

Pharrell Williams and G Star Raw have collaborated on their third collection, but this time it’s a recycled plastic clothing line. The entire collection is environmentally mindful and uses fabrics developed from textile company, Bionic Yarn, and environmental group, Parley for the Oceans. [Dezeen]

Food Truck turned Fashion Boutique

This Former Doritos Truck Has Been Transformed Into A Mobile Fashion Boutique

Karolina Jasinski and Kora Pridy have gutted and redesigned an old Doritos truck into a mobile shop for their fashion brand Ardillas United. The shop is a 130 square foot area, complete with vinyl floors, white walls and change rooms. Inside customers can shop for jewelry, scarves, clothing, and home décor pieces.  [Contemporist]
