Emma Watson continues to slay red carpets everywhere in an array of sustainable designer looks showing us that luxury style can be also conscious.
No stranger to the true cost of fashion, the young activist is a United Nations Women’s Goodwill Ambassador who has worked to promote fair trade and organic clothing while also serving as an ambassador for Camfed International, a movement to educate girls in rural Africa.
With the release of her film, Beauty & The Beast, Emma launched a collaborative ethical fashion venture with EcoAge for her Press Tour.
Emma shows us that ethical and sustainable fashion doesn’t mean compromising style. Working hand in hand with EcoAge to ensure certifiability of each garment, she wore designers including Calvin Klein, Elie Saab, House of Givenchy, Oscar De La Renta and Stella McCartney, along with Aussie eco-brand Kitx for an edgy look at the MTV Music Awards.
Designer collaborations featured recycled, organic and sustainable materials for the actress’ red carpet and press looks. From dreamy princess to edgy and modern, each look was beyond breathtaking and red carpet-worthy while being eco-verified to ensure sustainability in production.
With the passing of #fashionrevolutionweek, we’re reminded of the serious impact that fashion has not only on our planet earth, but those who produce our garments. Emma is turning red carpets green setting a new industry standard. Stay tuned for more on Emma’s eco cool style.
