Look online debuts its street style page that is sure to drive fashion lovers to take a closer peek.
Look, a fashion, beauty and shopping site has just launched their “Look What I’m Wearing” page that allows users to take photos of the outfit they are wearing and upload to the site. Once approved by the Look team, it will then be uploaded to the site the following week.
The idea of street style blogs and websites have grown exceptionally over the past few years with the theory that we all like to see what others are wearing, what styles are trending, and to simply gain more knowledge of the fashion-street style industry. Look has joined the trend and used this new as a new way to boost consumer engagement and grow traffic to the website.
With having the option to interact through Twitter and Facebook to “like” and re-tweet looks, Look is tying social media together to get consumers excited to appear on the site each week.
Julie Lavington, publishing director at Look said: “We know from research that women look to other women for fashion inspiration, and we’re tapping in to this with Look What I’m Wearing. It will be a major new franchise, providing a daily online destination, a weekly event in print and snackable content on our social networks.”
